Excessive Exercise May Speed up Heart Failure
Maybe you are told from childhood that exercise is very good to the health, if you suffer from obesity, hypertension, coronary heart disease, high cholesterol and other problems, the doctor gives you the suggestion that to take more exercise because exercise can help control high blood pressure and crown heart disease. However, a new study has found that exercise should be appropriate, excessive exercise may speed up heart failure.
Recently, the American physician published an experimental report on Hypertension, an American Journal of Medicine, which reported that in animal experiments, if the mouse appears a tendency of over-exercise via wheeling pedal, after a time, the heart of these mice began to be abnormal and showed decrease on blood-pumping function. As for the mice which had been already suffering from high blood pressure, if take over exercise, the speed of heart failure was significantly faster than those take less movement.
Although the experiment is only limited to animal experiments, whether there will be the same results on human beings need to be further study. The researchers pointed out that the result was still a reminder that exquisite exercise may have harm to people with high blood pressure but untreated, it should be careful to the time and amount of exercise.
