Nowadays, a lot of families and companies will prepare disposable paper cups because of convenient and health, you can throw away it after using. But in the mind you must be careful to use disposable cups to keep hot water.

In order to prevent water permeating, inwall of the paper cups are besmeared with a thin layer of wax, which will be melt when heating. if the water temperature is more than 40 ℃, this layer will be melt. Therefore, it is better to use paper cups to hold cold drinks, but not hot water, the temperature of which is higher than 40 ℃.

Generally, standard manufacturer of paper cups will use food-grade wax so it is safe even the wax is melt with high temperature water. However, many illegal manufacturer now use industrial paraffin, which is much cheaper, to be daubed on the inwall of paper cups. Industrial paraffin contains much harmful substances such as benzene and pahs, which is harmful to the nervous system and hematopoietic system of people’s body.

Accordingly, it should be careful when buying disposable paper cups. If you have to use it, the first glass of water should be better not to drink. Keeping about four or five minutes and pour away the water, by this way, the harmful substance can be fully volatilized.
